You know what saddens me the most? People who don’t believe. By this I don’t refer to having a religion as Christianity or Islam, or any other beliefs. By believing I refer to having faith and believing in fate. Trusting your own intuition and trusting the universe. Knowing that in the end, everything happened for a reason and every single event was part of a greater good. I do believe that every one of us has an unique path in life they follow, or actually that they are meant to follow. Because life, through my eyes, is a journey of becoming how you were meant to be. Finding your uniqueness, exploring and cherishing your gifts, following your passions, expressing and creating. Failing, learning, changing and growing. Living with nature, grounding, and finding magic in the littlest things. It’s recognising the cycles in every aspect of life. It’s about living with the seasons, changing with the moon phases and adapting to the low and the high tides.
There are little signs, some you don’t even notice at times, that inform you, lead and guide you, further, deeper and closer to what you’re looking for, whether you are aware of what you were meant to find or not. It’s in the synchronicities, it’s in the people that walk into your life (and out again), that bring you insights and lessons. It’s in the books you read, the music you listen to and the movies you watch. It’s in the chances and opportunities that cross your path. It’s important to see those signs, to acknowledge them and to live by them.
And when you’d ask me if I believe in magic, I will say ‘yes, I do’. I do believe in different kinds of magic. Life itself is magic, emotions are magic, senses, imaginations, thoughts and dreams are magic. There’s magic in nature, in people and in relationships. In connections and beings, in art and in science.
And sometimes it just feels right. Everything is exactly how it is supposed to be. You feel like flying and you unconsciously catch your breath out of excitement. Time stands still, while the energy around you is radiating. You can even see it vibrating through the perfect looking air. Some say it’s the law of attraction, or maybe fate. Others say it’s coincidence or just a matter of cause and effect, of causality. I believe it’s everything at once.
It’s so funny to see that there are a lot of different kinds of people on this planet, including idealists and realists. These two types are oppositions. What oppositions do is clash or merge, but mostly they clash. I am a true idealist at heart, and that is why I can’t interact and communicate very well with a lot of realists. I do dream a lot, by day and by night and I have a lot of strong opinions, morals and ethics, which may not always be very realistic or common. But I don’t care. I like being this way. I like to believe in magic and fairytales. I want to believe that people are good, the world will be in peace someday and every little action helps. I don’t have time for a harsh reality.
